More than 25 years of technical training, over 20 years of performance experience, and 15 years of teaching.
Classically trained in ballet and modern techniques including Limon, Graham, Horton and Cunningham. Not to mention all the fusion techniques including release technique and contemporary. A few notable artists I have had the pleasure of training and working with are Nina Marlow, Irine Fokine, Rhythm McCarthy, Mark Rhodes, Julia Bubalo, Sarah Brummel, Janice Dulak, Michael Simms. Glen Eddy, Douglas Neilsen, Rob Davidson, Jennifer Tsukayama, Mary Fitzgerald, Ronald K Brown, Sean Curran and Melissa Rolnick.
Teacher
Available to teach ballet and modern for all levels and ages. Also available for private lessons in technique, core strengthening, and performance dynamics.
My teaching includes a lot of imagery to help the dancer understand the physical connections as well as the visual. I focus on core structure of the body and correct arm placement and the connection through the spine. My classes include floor work, barre work, center work, partner work and performance of combinations built throughout the class.
